Our clients thought
The current system functions really well, but there are some drawbacks due to its low price. Firstly, because it was made inexpensively, it is not very durable. For instance, I accidentally knocked it over once and the stove got bent out of shape, requiring me to manually adjust the metal back into place. As a result, it no longer closes properly, although it still functions. Another issue is that the spoon and fork combination bends in the wrong direction, so when you apply too much pressure, such as scooping heavier food, it closes. If it were designed to open in the opposite direction, it would tighten as you scoop heavier food. Apart from these issues, the system performed admirably. It boils water quickly and is lightweight and easy to carry.

Nicely crafted for a basic and straightforward set. It may not be robust or have enough room for intense backcountry adventures or extended multi-day trips with groups. However, it’s ideal for individuals or small groups just starting out in hiking, kayaking, etc. It served its purpose, but I may upgrade to a similar but more versatile kit with larger, more spacious items. Minor concerns included the small size of the plates (which are actually saucers) and the silicone grips on the very petite tumbler cups. The grips don’t match the tapered shape of the tumblers, so they fit somewhat awkwardly, but they still do the job. Overall, this is a great budget-friendly kit for simple weekend camping trips or picnics, and it packs up very neatly.
